The Consell dels Xiquets de Xàbia resumed its activity last week with a meeting at the Monjove headquarters, in which it was the opening session of the new course. In this meeting, representatives of all the educational centers and first grade students of the ESO participated.
As explained by the Citizen Participation Department, presentation dynamics were prepared so that all members could meet and initiate contact.
Among the first tasks of the course, the Consell dels Xiquets will prepare a work requested by the Directorate General for Children and Adolescents of the Valencian Community to participate in the Valencian Strategy for Children and Adolescents.
As they explain from the department he directs Montse Villaverde, the specific program assigned to them is related to the prevention of violence perpetrated by minors. The members of the council are very motivated in this challenge and in the coming weeks they will collect proposals from all their colleagues to be able to share them in the November meeting.
