The solidarity concert organized last weekend by a group of musicians from Xàbia to raise funds for the Association Against Cancer of Xàbia and allocate them to the investigation of this disease managed to raise more than 2650 euros.
The concert was held at the Nuestra Señora de Loreto Parish, and attendees were able to listen to pieces by composer Herman Beeftink performed by soloists Anna Bas (flute), Marina Pellín (piccolo), Paula Vallés (flute), Marina Espinós (flute) , Juan Miguel Bas (trumpet) and Paco Cholbi (piano).
From the association they thanked the support of the collaborating companies and asked the attendees to help in the day-to-day operation of this group that helps and accompanies people fighting cancer as well as their families and close friends.
