The volunteer collective of Balcón al Mar calls, through their social networks, all citizens to join their departure team. These volunteers look for people, both men and women, from 19 to 64 years old who wish to take the opportunity to support the community and help protect the local environment.
The main tasks will revolve around alternate training sessions on Wednesday nights (two a month) that are available to attend emergency incidents, as well as to support fundraising and community events.
From the organization point out that volunteers must have a full driving license and have a reasonable command of the English language, "and having other language skills will be a great advantage. We are very interested in involving more Spanish citizens in our organization".
From the group point out that it is preferable that candidates live at 5 km / 3 miles from the Fire Station located on George Frederick Handel Street, in the area of Balcón al Mar, so that the arrival to the base is quicker if of emergency, although it is open to all the people who want to collaborate and be part of Volunteers of Balcón al Mar.
