El Club Náutico Jávea Little by little it returns to the usual normality prior to the COVID-19 pandemic and that is why it has prepared a new edition of the Interscholastic League, the program to promote sailing sports in Xàbia schoolchildren.
The Interscholastic League has the support of the Department of Sports of the Javea Town Hall and takes place from June 28 to July 11. It is a program that makes it possible to publicize the sailing sports that can be practiced in the sports center of the sea of Xàbia to schoolchildren between 10 and 14 years old.
One of the novelties of this edition of the Club Nautico Jávea Interscholastic League is that young people from 14 to 18 years old will be able to do 1-day trips, to row with the Valencian falutxo.
In two weeks, the young people of Xàbia will be able to approach the sea, learn about the different sports disciplines, increase their awareness of the marine environment and enjoy the bay of Xàbia. During the period of this League, there will be nautical activities, trips in collective boats, as well as practicing paddle surfing or kayaking. All this, under the supervision of the monitors of the Jávea Yacht Club and with all the security measures imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic, in fact most of the activities are carried out outdoors.
