El Club Náutico Jávea has signed the signing of the Spanish champion of Kite formulaMarta Sánchez His first comxicotetion with his new club was the Resume Olympic Week. Sanchez is a regular at Xàbia Bay where he usually trains two or three hours every weekend.
The sailor started with the kite in 2009, making sport compatible with architectural studies. After a break to finish his studies, in 2012, he resumed the comxicotetion in the Race class, and in 2013 it was already the 12 best in all of Spain.
Again, Sánchez had to depart from the sport to focus on his profession (architect) and in 2018 he returned to the class again hydrofoil, which led him to the top of the podium in 2019.
For this season, Sánchez faces the challenge of not getting off the podium, in a category in which Gisela Pulido is his great rival. The next event is the Spanish Kite Formula Championship in Cartagena, this March. An appointment also attended by the other sailor of this Club class, José Luis Boronat.
Sánchez declared that "I am very happy to have integrated into the discipline of the club" and wanted to thank "The support he has received from the beginning of all the staff of Sailing School, as well as the sports director."
After this incorporation, the sports director of the Club Nautico de Javea, Javier Momparler, has highlighted that "it is a bet of the club for the new modalities of sailing that allows the young sailors of the School to offer one more way out to continue in the world of sailing ”.
Momparler added that “It is a very new modality and that the Náutico de Jávea, by the hand of José Luis Boronat and Marta Sánchez is among the most advanced in the whole of the national territory”.
In addition, the sports director of the Yacht Club of Javea recalled that the club is the basis of the project of "Mothquito", a catamaran foil that is in the development phase and whose partners and athletes contribute to its evolution.
