El Club Nautico de Javea has successfully closed its 50th Sailing Week, a very special edition that was held from August 16 to 24.
During these days, nearly 380 boats and more than 700 people have gathered to compete in this sporting event that, reaching half a century old, has encompassed various sailing and motorboating competitions, as well as different social and cultural events.
The extensive program of the big week of the Javiense club has brought together different regattas such as the Rodolfo Tomás Optimist Trophy, with more than 150 children registered, the Windsurf Trophy and 420 or the Veterans Trophy. And, during the last weekend of the event, some of the club's most emblematic and historic trophies were celebrated, such as the SIR Thomas Lipton Trophy, the Comodoro 'Federico Gimeno' Trophy, and the 3 Cabos Regularity Motorcycle Trophy.
25 cruise ships meet in the new edition of the SIR Thomas Lipton Trophy
The Sir Thomas Lipton Trophy 2024, which was another year's scoring test for the level 1 Autonomous Cup, managed to bring together 25 boats from different parts of the Valencian Community in the waters of the Bay of Jávea. During the two days of racing, the fleet was able to complete the 3 scheduled races and, after some very close partials, these were the final results in each of the categories.

Great participation in the Comodoro 'Federico Gimeno' Trophy with 40 cruisers registered
On August 24, the Comodoro 'Federico Gimeno' Trophy took place in which 40 boats from the entire Valencian Community participated. They completed a coastal route divided into four classes: ORC 1, ORC 2, ORC 3 and ORC 4. After the test, this is how the medal tables for each of them were:

Plenary session for the Jávea Yacht Club in the 3 Cabos Trophy
During the 50th Sailing Week there was also space for motorboating with the 3 Cabos Regularity Motorboating Trophy, where a dozen boats competed on Saturday the 24th for this title. And after the test was held, the Jávea Yacht Club boats rose to the top of the general classification, leaving the final classification as follows:

Furthermore, at the final Trophy Ceremony of the 50th Sailing Week, José Luis Aliaga was recognized with a plaque given to him by the president of the CN Jávea, Arturo Miquel, for his years of dedication to yachting as a commodore, manager and partner. as well as for the promotional work he has done for the sport of sailing. And Gemma Rodriguez and Pedro Servet from El Alvedro as shipowners of the year.
