From June 25 to 29, the national base championship of women's artistic gymnastics was held in Lleida.
The Montgó-Xàbia Sports Club has participated with 25 girls, aged between 7 years and 15 years, highlighting base 7, Paula Martín, who managed to become runner-up in Spain on Balance beam.
In base 1, 143 girls competed and Ágata Barber, Nor Benaisa, Mariia Stepanchuk, Sara Ahattach, África Campuzano and Stella Khilya participated for the club, highlighting Ágata in this category, who finished in fourteenth place.
In base 2, the club participated with 9 girls, Solomiia Stepanchuk, Vera Buigues, Atenea Ceballos, Millie Gardner, Nohara Pellejero, Laura Mcmahon, Laia Serra, Izabele Kiara, Solomiia was ranked 19th out of 137 girls competing in this category .
In base 3, the club participated with Kila Stuivenga, Charlie Khilya and Valeria Dehovtsova, Valeria was the Spanish floor champion and was ranked 15th overall out of 220 gymnasts. In base 4, with 230 gymnasts, Irene Mata participated, being up to the task.
In base 5, Laia Ivars competed, there were 110 gymnasts in the category and Laia played a great role in the category. In base 6, for girls aged 13, the club was represented by Resa Stuivenga, Edurne Marti, Raquel Ramboer and Nuria Campoy, all of them playing a great role.
In base 7, Paula Martin competed, who managed to become runner-up in Spain on Balance beam. Already in base 9, the club's veteran, Diana Muñoz, competed, who also had a great competition.
The club would like to thank the Alicante Provincial Council for its sponsorship, for the subsidy granted so that the club could participate in this national competition, as well as recognize the great work of the technicians.
Spanish Championship in Pamplona
From June 19 to 23, the Spanish Olympic route artistic gymnastics championship, for men and women, and the men's base championship, was held in Pamplona. The Montgó-Xàbia Sports Club participated with 3 girls and 6 boys.
In Olympic route 3, Lilly Maria Amat was proclaimed Spanish champion in parallel and in Olympic route 5 and in Olympic route 6, Estrella Gámez and Lola Mathews, who were making their debut in the highest category, played a great role.
In the national men's base, Félix Gil participated in base 3, showing that he is at a good level. Already in the highest category, on Olympic route 2, Eloy Jong, Javi Soler and Hugo Martin participated, qualifying as a team in fourth position.
In individual, Eloy managed to be fourth on vault, sixth on floor and ninth on beam and fifteenth overall. Hugo was fourth in pommel horse and was 18th overall and Javi was classified in the top 20th, in Olympic route 3.
Joan Buigues was runner-up in Spain in jumping and seventh overall. Already in Olympic route 6, (youth) Adrián Larrosa was champion of Spain in jumping, third on bar, fifth on floor, eighth in crossbow, ninth in rings, sixth in parallel, and was third overall, he was also runner-up of Spain, by autonomies.
The club wants to congratulate the boys and coaches, after a very complicated season.
