The Lyons Club of Pedreguer, Dénia and Xàbia have approached this morning, the Social Center of Xàbia, to make a donation to the department of Servicios Sociales. Specifically, it has been the amount of 2.400 euros in vouchers of 20 euros to exchange them in the Mas y Mas Supermarkets. The area councillor, Rita Berruti, has indicated that the bonds will be distributed among the neediest families in the town.
The Lions Club has long collaborated with the Department of Social Services. Previously they provided gifts but the organization decided that it was more appropriate to donate the money in vouchers of 20 euros to use for basic food such as fish, meat and bread.
