"Spaniards in exile" is the title of the audiovisual project filmmaker Ruben Hornillo the javiense really want to do this year. And it seeks help in a Patronage platform using the formula Crowdfunding for, through the donations of anonymous people, to reach the 33.000 euros in which the feature film is budgeted.

The Rubén Hornillos project seeks to reflect the reality of the thousands of Spaniards who have left the country in search of employment opportunities abroad due to the current economic and social situation. For this purpose, the search for the testimonies of the real protagonists will travel throughout the world, the Spanish 400.000 that since the crisis began in 2008 have been registered in consulates and embassies around the world.
Ruben is intended to complete the project before the end 2013, "Since this reality must be told in the present, if you want to do something". Why come to this funding formula, as traditional formulas would delay the production of the documentary.
As of today, Rubén has 40 days to get the necessary financing to move forward with his project, whose release date has been set in February by 2014.
Rubén Hornillo is a graduate in Audiovisual Communication at the Polytechnic Univesidad of Valencia. Currently he resides in Los Angeles (USA) where he studied a master's in production and has just completed post-production of his first feature, "Slave of God".
