The testimonies of the oldest people of Xàbia tell the dark story of 'La Criminala'. documentary by Jaume Castell it brings closer the events that occurred a century ago, specifically, in 1920, when Úrsula murdered her stepson Bartolomé in the Portitxol area.

A story, told many times, through novels, and which makes your hair stand on end, but which had never been told, on video, by the people closest to that time. Now, the true story opens in the Jayan Cinema in Xàbia.

The documentary will be screened in the Xàbia urban cinema hall on August 16 at 17:XNUMX p.m. A special appointment for its producer, Jaume Castell, who is very happy about this screening, "I feel happy that the titanic work I have done these last seven years is being rewarded. Morally rewarded, because despite having asked for help from some institution and receiving the sound of the cricket, I have managed to get it through".

Castell appreciates the support of all the people nearby in the implementation of this project that is launched on the big screen, "It has come about with the help of people who were once friends and are now more than brothers, such as David from Por Ella Productions in editing, Paskual from Sr Lobo Tattoo who made the amazing poster, María Ferrer for communication and José Gallo from Instants Fotografía, who was on camera."

For Jaume, the premiere of the documentary is a wonderful personal feeling, "I premiered it in the town where my entire paternal family lived and lives", a premiere that comes true since it had to be canceled due to the state of alarm that the country was experiencing in the face of the current coronavirus pandemic.
