El CEIP Trenc d'Alba has obtained the distinctive 'Healthy Life Seal' granted by the Ministry of Education which recognizes all those Spanish centers that promote health and sport in the educational field.
With this seal at the national level, the CEIP Trenc d'Alba becomes the first educational center in Xàbia and at the same time, in the Marina Alta region, to achieve recognition for its work in promoting, in the education of students, habits for a healthy life both in diet and in the practice of physical education.
In the call for this 2020, the Ministry has awarded this badge to a total of 103 educational centers, both public and private, from all over Spain, being the Trenc d'Alba the first time it was presented.
The 'Healthy Living Seal' has been obtained, so far, by 266 educational centers in Spain, since this certificate was announced in 2015, and the first recognitions were awarded in 2016.
Likewise, the CEIP Trenc d'Alba adds this quality mark to the Ministry's recognition of being a CEPAFE center (Educational Center for the Promotion of Physical Activity and Sport).
With both certificates, the educational center is grateful for the assessment they have obtained, on the one hand, for the work carried out in supporting the implementation of sports, physical activity and health (PEAFS) projects outside school hours during the school year while integrated into the educational project of the center, which made it a CEPAFE center and, on the other, to promote, during schooling, a healthy lifestyle based on correct nutrition and food together with sport; as well as hygiene, thus achieving Healthy Life Seal.
