El Javea Town Hall has constituted the Council of Tourism and Economic Promotion in a session held by telematic means. In this forum for debate and participation, the associations of merchants of the three nuclei, the association of restaurateurs, the fishing association and active tourism companies are represented, as well as hotels and other sectors linked to the sector such as vehicle rentals or tourist.
At the meeting, both the mayor, José Chulvi, as the Councilor for Tourism, Antonio Miragall, made a review of the different actions to support the local economy that the City Council has promoted since the emergence of the health crisis and realized the balance of the summer season as well as the promotional campaigns activated and in planning.
The local executive provided all the support of the City Council in these difficult times and the business community was encouraged to join plans such as the Valencian Community Tourism Bonus that promotes intra-community tourism and is having a great reception.
The Tourism Council was summoned to a next meeting before Christmas to be able to put in common the different initiatives with which they want to encourage local consumption.
