09 July 2019 - 16: 49

The government of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell has launched a new protocol for resolution of incidents that is more effective and keeps citizens informed throughout the process of processing their request for an incident.

In the event that a neighbor reports an incident, the Town hall It will indicate the approximate term of the resolution, likewise, when the notice is solved (usually they are usually damages in public infrastructures), the neighbors will be informed immediately. On the other hand, if there has been a delay, the reason will also be transferred to the neighbors and they will be informed of the new deadline to resolve the incident.

With this new procedure, the protocol affects the feedback, the response to the neighbors. The system is based on bilaterality. The citizens must have immediate information of the incidents that they themselves report to the City Council.

The mayor, Miguel Ángel García, and the councilors of his government have met with the municipal brigade and some key technicians to design this protocol. "We want to be more efficient and take a momentous step in bringing the administration closer to the neighbors. Transparency is basic. The neighbors must be informed of the entire incident resolution process. They detect problems that we may not see. We must
give them an answer to all the procedures and works carried out by the City Council. With work and closeness we get them to trust their administration "
, the mayor explained.
