The City Council gives the green light to the creation of a gym and renovation of kitchen and dining room in the Trenc d'Alba

El Javea Town Hall approved yesterday in a government meeting the bidding documents for the drafting of the school reform project Trenc d'Alba, one of those included in the battery of works that will finance the Pla Edificant. This plan is promoted by the Generalitat and gives the powers to the municipalities to streamline the modernization of educational infrastructure.

As explained by the Councilor for Education, Montse Villaverde, it is beginning to tender the drafting of the work projects. The reference to the Trenc d'Alba is the most important, since it will involve the construction of a gym, the extension of the dining room and kitchen, the renovation of bathrooms and pipes and the renovation of a children's play area. The draft of the project has an exit budget of 85.900 euros and the technical conditions can be consulted in the public procurement platform.

Another of the tenders already underway is the one concerning the school Vicente Tena, which will be directed to the construction of an emergency staircase, toilets for children and the comprehensive reform of the gym. The Conselleria will be directly responsible for the construction of an elevator. The drafting of this project, also within the deadline for submission of proposals, has a budget of 46.000 euros.

Villaverde has advanced that the rest of the works requested and approved by the Regional Ministry for the schools of the municipality will be tendered progressively. The most complex and still being negotiated technically is the one that affects the Graüll since it involves the demolition of the current facilities and construction of a totally new center.
