El Javea Town Hall has incorporated eight young people into its staff thanks to the Avalem Joves Plus program, who will work at the City Council for one year. This programme, belonging to the Valencian Employment and Training Service (SERVEF), subsidizes the hiring of people under 30 years of age.
The new workers will carry out their technical or administrative functions in the departments of computer science, language standardization, economic development, works, the Municipal file and heritage. Two others will be in charge of the cultural building concierge.
Mayor, José Chulvi, has welcomed young people and encouraged them to take advantage of this opportunity both to gather work experience and to know how the local administration works. Through Avalem Joves, the Generalitat tries to support the employability of the youngest, provide them with work experience and put value on young talent in public administration.
