The mayor of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell, Miguel Ángel García, and the Councilor for Public Safety, María José Ivars, participated last Saturday in the Assembly of neighborhood Watch, an association that was born in 2014 in the top del Sol in order to reduce crime in the urbanization by increasing surveillance and which has been extending its action throughout the municipality.

The mayor also highlighted his valuable collaboration in the case of wiring theft a few weeks ago at the Cumbre del Sol. On that occasion, the work of Neighbors Cooperating was very helpful, both when alerting all the neighbors and for the subsequent investigation conducted by the Civil Guard.
