Two residents of Xàbia will represent Spain in the World Dance Championship

Last Saturday, April 4, two young people, residents of Xàbia, participated in the contest, 'All Dance Spain', the official World Dance Championship in the national edition, in which the participants competed to represent Spain in the World Championship.

The young dancers, Melissa Duley and Chloe Jenkins, students of the Xàbia dance school, Footworks, they got second and third place, respectively, which will represent Spain in the 'All Dance World'which will take place in Orlando next November.

Duley, who won the silver medal, competed in the Lyrical Jazz category, in the pre-youth category (from 11 to 14 years old) and performed the choreography 'Future' that gave him 82.9 points.

For his part, Jenkins, who obtained the bronze medal, did so with the Contemporary and Modern Dance modality also in the pre-youth category. The young dancer got 73.5 points with the choreography Elastic heart.

It should be noted that on this occasion, and due to the situation due to the pandemic, the National Contest has taken place online, so the participants have had to demonstrate their full potential through the screen, and without a doubt, the hard This time's work has had its reward.

Its choreographer, Elena Victoria, congratulated and highlighted the talent and effort of these young artists.
