November 11 from 2020 - 12: 26

Mediterránea Gastrónoma opened its doors this past weekend with a tribute to the hospitality and agri-food production sector. The Gastronomic Fair held this event in a special way, and in addition to in person, in online format, with the presentations and masterclasses of the important chefs of our Community, among which were 6 from our region.

This year, the event had a reduced capacity and an immense technical deployment that allowed the event to be followed from home by streaming.

Xàbia was represented by great chefs who have Michelin Stars and Repsol Suns such as Alberto Ferruz from Bon Amb, Cristina Prados from Bon Amb and Clara Puig and Borja Susilla from Tula.

The renowned chefs valued the varied gastronomic offer of the Valencian Community through menus specifically designed to celebrate Mediterránea Gastrónoma.

Alberto Ferruz, from Bon Amb, started his presentation dedicating it to his team and confessing that for him cooking is trying to make people happy and transmit the culture of the environment.

José Manuel Miguel, from the restaurant Beat (Calpe), proposed a trip between France and Spain taking recipes from the neighboring country with ingredients from the land. Borja Susilla and Clara Puig de Tula also took part in these presentations, as well as the room and wine expert Cristina Prado del Bon Amb.

For his part, Quique Dacosta was in charge of starting this edition with the cooking on the first day of Mediterránea Gastrónoma with a tribute to tomato.
