The Civil Guard has detained two Moroccans of 18 and 17 years and a Spaniard, also of 18, neighbors three of Jávea, for being the alleged perpetrators of a crime of injury and another of damages, committed to a neighbor of Gata de Gorgos , whose blows caused the rupture of the ulna of the left arm and numerous contusions in the back, head, ribs and jaw, even the loss of consciousness at the time of the beating.
The facts go back to the 7 night of November 2017, when the attacked, a member of the festival commission of the town of Gata de Gorgos, intervened in a fight that he observed was taking place in the mobile disco that was installed on that date, on the occasion of the celebration of a holiday in the municipality.
In this first intervention, he received insults and threats, but without reaching more, as the young apparitions left the place. Later, they tried to access the premises again, returning this member of the party organization to call their attention, warning them that he was going to call the police. When saying this, the young people began to rebuke him more harshly, until one of them finally punched him, throwing him to the ground, the rest starting kicking him throughout the body, the victim even losing consciousness, due to the violence of aggressions.
The man was immediately assisted by the rest of the people who were there and, once he regained consciousness, he decided to take out his mobile phone to record what was happening. That is why, again, he was rebuffed, one of them grabbed the phone to throw it on the ground, destroying it, finally leaving the place.
the agents of the Investigation Area of the Guardia Civil del Vergel initiated the proceedings aimed at identifying and locating the three aggressors, which resulted in arrests in the current month of January.
The detainees are three young Moroccans, one of them with Spanish nationality, two of 18 years and one of 17, residents of Jávea, who are charged with the crime of injury.
The minor, in addition, is charged with a crime of damage, since it is the person who snatched the mobile phone to the victim, to throw it to the ground. All three have already gone to court, being released on provisional charges.
