Two thieves are arrested with a cash register in their hands

The National Police of Dénia stops, in flagrante, to two thieves after having robbed in an address and in a commercial establishment. The alleged perpetrators, Spanish men of 26 and 28 years, who were surprised by agents with a cash register recently stolen, were charged with three robberies with force, one of them in an inhabited house and were placed at the disposal of the Court of Instruction of Guard of Dénia, who decreed
his entry into prison.

The events occurred during the night of last Sunday, 14 October, when a call to the Operational Room of the National Police 091 alerted the agents of a possible robbery at a home in the town of Dianense.

Once in the place, the agents verified that the presumed thieves had forced a shutter and acceded to the interior of the house managing to subtract diverse personal effects. Another call warned the police that there had been a robbery inside a commercial establishment, where through video surveillance cameras two people were observed stealing the cash register.

The agents determined that they were the same authors, so they established a police device to identify and locate the alleged thieves, arriving to observe when they were transporting a cash register and initiating a persecution that ended with the arrest of both persons.

The police found in the pockets of both detainees near 3.000 euros, allegedly stolen, and a bag with marijuana inside. Subsequently, the agents managed to recover various effects from the theft committed in the house, which were inside a container located in one of the streets of the escape route.
