The young sailors of the Club Nautico de Javea participated in the International Optimist Trophy of Torrevieja. A comxicotetion that brought together about 400 young sailors from 27 countries and among them were the sailors of the Club Nautico de Javea: Arantza Reig, Joel Ferrer, Álvaro Vallés, Ángel Poveda and Lucy Crosbie.
The strong wind marked the evolution of the regattas and in fact, on the first day, only one of the scheduled races could be played, so it was not until the second day when the groups were determined: Gold, silver, bronze and emerald.
Arantza Reig qualified for the bronze group, and the rest of the sailors were framed in the emerald. There was a great level, but even so, the sailors of Jávea harvested very good partials. Joel Ferrer made a sixth place and an 11 in two races. Arantza Reig made a ninth and an 17, and Angel Poveda an 12 and an 19. Also, Lucy Crosbie scored a second place in one of the sleeves.
One more regatta that helps them increase their experience in the face of upcoming events such as El Campello, which is scoring for the regional championship.
