The update of the evolution of the coronavirus situation by municipalities facilitated by the Ministry of Health provides positive data in Xàbia and the region. Although 18 new infections have been recorded in the last three days in the Dénia Health Department, the figure is lower than that registered the previous day, which was 21, so there has been a slight decrease. In this way, the Marina Alta has 9.928 positives since the beginning of the pandemic, of which 58 are active at the moment, which places the cumulative incidence at 33,99 cases per 100.000 inhabitants.
The hopeful situation of reaching the end of infections seems to be still somewhat far, but in Xàbia, despite the two infections registered last Tuesday, the town is again today among the municipalities that have not added new positive cases. This fact has positively led to a decrease in the cumulative incidence rate, standing at 7,14 cases per 100.000 inhabitants, which places the town at a very low risk of contagion.
The other good news is that one more update, the Dénia Health Department, on which the entire region depends, does not account for any death.
