Around 100 volunteers have participated in each of the five days of search that have been carried out during these last days by the municipality of Gata de Gorgos, Jesús Pobre and Xàbia. The objective was to find Miguel Ángel Gilabert, a neighbor of Gata de Gorgos who disappeared, last December 10 from his home when he left, according to the information provided by the family to the security forces, to find the mobile lost the day before When he went to look for mushrooms.
During these days, the search has been centered in the municipality of Xàbia because the signal from his mobile phone had been detected in the repeater in the area of Pla d'en Roca, in the town of Xabiera.
Firefighters, Civil Guard, Local Police, Civil Protection of several municipalities and the helicopter of the Fire Consortium, as well as friends, neighbors and family have tracked wells, plots, roads, riverbed and countless areas where it has not been found no trace of Michelangelo.
Today Sunday, December 15, and after having made a new search from early in the morning, from Civil Protection of Gata de Gorgos have reported that the technical meeting has agreed to deactivate the volunteer groups for the search, although the device will continue of inquiry with Local Police of Gata and Xàbia, Civil Guard and Firefighters.
