Dozens of medals and titles get the gymnasts of the CD Montgó Xàbia in the Autonomous Championship

The Nazaret del Cabañal pavilion in Valencia hosted, this past weekend, the Autonomous Championship of Men's Artistic Gymnastics, Women's Artistic Gymnastics, both in the Basic category and the Olympic and Acrobatic Route in base and absolute.

The comxicotetions took place on Saturday and Sunday, with women on Saturday and boys on Sunday. A large number of gymnasts from the Club Deportivo Montgó Xàbia, who demonstrated their great potential and returned home with several medals.

Women's Group Results

Base 1: Teresa Martínez, Atenea Ceballos, Vera Buigues, Laura Mcmahon, Iris Boluda, Malena Roig, Millie Gardner, Laia Serra, Kylie van Meijel and Maia Campbell competed in this category. Although they did not get on the podium, the little ones played a great role.

Base 2: in this group Charlie Khylia, Kila Stuivenga and Valeriia Dehovtsova competed, standing out the third place, and therefore, Kila's bronze medal in jump and second place and silver medal in parallels of Valeriia.

Base 3: This is the largest category with a total of 50 gymnasts. In it Irene Mata and Jill Van Meijel competed, who although they did not get medals, improved scores compared to the provincial championship.

Base 4: Edurne, Martin, Valeria Romera, Resa Stuivenga and Ruby Kitchen participated, achieving Valeria ride the second position in jump and Ruby got to be second on parallel bars, second on bar, second on floor; proclaiming himself thus regional champion.

Base 6: Diana Muñoz and Liliana Penge participated who managed to improve their exercises.

Base 7: Estrella Gámez and Lola Mathews compete in this category. Estrella got the gold in bar plata on the ground and parallel and it was proclaimed regional champion. Lola got gold in parallel, gold in jump and proclaimed third regional.

Olympic Way 2: Laia Ivars and Lilly Amat competed, highlighting the Third place in jump of Lilly and of course, bronze medal.

Olympic Way 3: Gymnasts María Gámez and Paula Martin defended their Olympic debut with dignity. Although they did not manage to get on the podium, they continue to work for the National Base Championship that will be held in Lanzarote from June 21 to 25 and the Men's National Base and the women's and men's Olympic route in Pamplona in July.

Results of the male category

Base 3: Jordi got the gold in jump and Felix was autonomous quarter.

Base 4: David gold floor and jump, plata rings and parallels and provincial runner-up.

Olympic Way 1: Leo hung the silver medal on floor, rack and bar, bronze in rings and regional runner-up.

Olympic Way 2: Eloy got the plata in bar and bronze on the ground and jump. Hugo had gold in foal, bronze in bar and regional runner-up. Joan gold in bar and regional champion.

Olympic Way 6: Adrian got gold in colt and bar, plata on the ground, bronze in rings and was third regional.
