Xàbia opens registrations for the Donut Race of 2023. This event, in solidarity and with which each year the strength of women is reflected when they walk together, will be held on Sunday, April 23 and will raise funds for Aproscedo (a regional association without profit of relatives and tutors of people with intellectual functional diversity) and Afido (the fibromyalgia and pain association) of Xàbia.
Its organizers, the women of the Llebeig Athletics Club and the Xàbia Department of Equality join forces once again to promote this massive act that puts the icing on the cake for the 8M program and that every year is confirmed as a day of coexistence, joy and sorority.
From Llebeig, Madelane Powell, explained that to give maximum facilities, registrations can be made both online on the somesport website as in shops: Esports Colau de Xàbia, Dénia and Ondara, in Botiga Decuero and in Inmobiliaria Llidomar until April 17. The donation is 5 euros and the first 1.000 registered will receive a commemorative shirt.
As usual, the race will have the athletics track of the Graüll school as its epicenter. The departure will be at 10 am and the route (about 5 kilometers to the port and back) can be done running or walking, making it an activity suitable for all ages and physical levels.
Both from the athletics club and the councilor for Equality, Montse Villaverde, have encouraged all women to participate, thus enjoying a day where there is always a great atmosphere, and at the same time collaborating with charitable causes. Men who want to collaborate can do so through line zero.
