C's Xàbia will ask, in plenary, to enable new points of attention and information for Britons affected by 'Brexit'

The spokesman for the municipal group Ciudadanos Xàbia, Enrique Escrivá, has presented an urgent motion for the next ordinary plenary session to be held next Monday the 23rd, demanding that the Javea Town Hall to carry out an information, orientation and support campaign towards British residents affected by the imminent departure of the United Kingdom from the European Union “Given the wave of uncertainty generated by Brexit in its status and rights”.

The mayor has described the informative meeting held a few days ago as "positive" and has pointed out that “The 'Brexit' is an unprecedented event, which holds an uncertain future for the British population that has put Xàbia in their lives, neighbors with whom we live day after day, and with whom the City Council must live up to and take another step, providing all necessary information and support, ” has manifested Escrivá.

Similarly, the spokesperson of the municipal group proposes to the City Council to enable new points of attention and information to the affected population, also in other municipal units, in addition to the service of 'Help Desk' located in the OAC; o that the staff in charge of informing, guiding and resolving on issues related to 'Brexit' have received training on the repercussions and consequences of 'Brexit' on the British population; and finally, that information on the matter appears on the Xàbia City Council website.
