Cristina Roselló and Toni Soler get on the podium in the '8th San Silvestre de Ondara'

Ondara celebrated its traditional Solidarity race of San Silvestre that this year celebrated its eighth edition. The protagonism of the athletes of Xàbia returned to be total, since two of them climbed to the podium. Cristina Roselló was the best in the absolute classification of women and Toni Soler He was second in the men's total.

A test that had, on this occasion, the prominence of Miquel Piera, Athlete of the Athletics Club Baleària Diànium who was the first to cross the finish line. Piera, from the beginning of the race, took control of the operations marking a rhythm that could only be followed by Fran López and Toni Soler. They were together for much of the test until in the absence of some 200 meters, Piera chose to leave his fellow escape and stand alone at the finish line.

A few 20 seconds came together and holding hands, Lopez and Soler, demonstrating that before the comxicotetion is the friendship that unites them.

In women, the best athlete was the Xabiera athlete, Cristina Roselló, who clearly was the first to cross the finish line between the applause of many of her students as she is a coach of the Municipal School of Athletics of Ondara.

The second to cross the finishing line was the Athlete of the Baleària Diànium Athletics Club, Marta. The third place on the podium went to the athlete Cristina, from Corriol Xtrem Oliva.

As in the two previous editions, the test had a solidary character. The collection from the inscriptions, each participant contributed 3 euros, goes to the Residence Mare de Deu de la Soletat of the municipality.
