Cristina Roselló was fourth overall in the 'Santa Pola Half Marathon'

January 21 from 2019 - 16: 16

The athlete xabiera, Cristina Roselló, has started its 2019 season in the best way, finishing in fourth place in the female absolute category in the Santa Pola Half Marathon. Roselló crossed the line of arrival with a brand of 1: 26, being the second Spanish to reach the finish line and second in its senior category.

It was a nice experience for her, since for two years she had not run a race at this distance, discounting the Half Ironman. His reference in a distance like this was the 1: 29 that he had marked in the Half Marathon that ran in Dénia.

The big goal for Cristina was to lower that mark and enjoy the test. She got both and had two good friends who accompanied her throughout the tour as are Patxi and Iwo who were with her at all times.

During the test she found herself at ease, comfortable with the rhythm she put on and especially mentally so as not to puncture. He raised a race from less to more and, in the absence of 5 kilometers to the end, he found a lot of strength and chose to raise his pace.

See how it was happening to other athletes and listen to the mood of the audience as "You're going sixth, a little more", made it fly in the final part of the test. He managed to overtake two more athletes and he even had the strength to do a nice sprint in the last meters.

Roselló finished the race very happy with her own performance and above all very motivated to be so good in form. Cristina Roselló herself also ended up happy with what was done by her student, Raki, who finished the race with a time of 1: 32, a prize for the great work that is taking place.

For this season, Cristina Roselló has the sponsorship of Matties Bags, Boronat Bicicletes, Rosso Wheel and Nutixxion, to which she thanks for the trust they place in her.
