Cristina Prados, from Bon Amb, wins the National Gastronomy Award for Best Room Director

Last night, the jury of the National Gastronomy Award for Best Room Director awarded the 2022 award to Cristina Prados, from the BonAmb restaurant. The award highlights the work of the professional during the last year.

The BonAmb, located in Xàbia, has 2 Michelin stars and 3 Repsol soles. According to the RAG statement, "with Prados at the head of the room, an elegant but close staging is presented, explaining the products and production processes to the client, and finishing numerous dishes on the table, where his charisma and his hand are noted knowledgeable and professional."

The statement from the Royal Academy of Gastronomy reviews the trajectory that the now Best Room Director was trained in large national and international hotel and gastronomic groups, "her talent in mastering the scene and the customer experience is innate. In His professional career highlights his time at the Vertical and La Sucursal restaurants; in the latter he had two great masters and National Gastronomy Awards, Javier de Andrés and Manuela Romeralo".

The jury was chaired by Abel Valverde, National Gastronomy Award, and made up of Lourdes Plana Bellido, President of the RAG, Alfonso Rodés, Vice President of the RAG, José Mª Sanz-Magallón, Secretary General of the RAG, the Marta Campillo National Awards and Carmelo Pérez, and Academics Cuchita Lluch, Borja Beneyto and José Carlos Capel.
