The Association of Traditional Boats of Xàbia and the Fiestas Virgen del Loreto Commission, with the collaboration of the Javea Town Hall, has convened the X Painting Contest "José Lledó". In the bases of the contest it is indicated that there will be two categories, one until the 14 years and another one from the 15 in advance. The modality is of fast painting to the natural one and the thematic is Marines and corners of the Port of Xàbia.
The technique will be optional and the measurements, minimum 50cm and maximum 100cm wide. Each participant will contribute their materials, in rigid support and without framing. The contest will be held on August 25, 2019 in the Port of Xàbia from 9 a.m. to 14 p.m. The presentation will be from 9 to 10 hours in the Lonja and the works will be delivered in the Casa del Cable.
The participating paintings will be exhibited at the Soler Blasco Museum from October 25, which will take place at 20:10 p.m., until November 2. Likewise, the awards ceremony will be Saturday, November 2019, XNUMX during the dinner at the Llotja included in the Activities of the XIII Meeting of Traditional Boats of Xàbia.
For the category of adults, a first prize of 600 € and a second prize of 200 € will be awarded, as well as a Local and Regional Prize of 200 euros each for the residents of Xàbia or La Marina Alta respectively, who did not obtain the first prize or the second prize. For the category of minors, two lots of school material will be released.
The works may be removed at the end of the exhibition at the Soler Blasco Museum, except for the winning work of the first prize, which will become the property of the Association. The Jury will be selected by the Association and its decision can not be reviewed. The Contest may not be deserted.
