The child voucher aids for the 2019-2020 course have been announced

13 June 2019 - 12: 17

The Ministry of Education, Research, Culture and Sports has published in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat Valenciana (DOGV) the child voucher aids attached to families that send their children from 0 to 3 years in private-owned children's schools and of the 0-1 and 1-2 sections of the municipal nursery schools.

The Ministry allocates a total of 55,5 million euros in financial aid for the children's bonus, which represents an increase of 20,6% of the budget with respect to the 2018-2019 course.

The beneficiary of this grant will be the students from 0 to 3 years enrolled in private centers of first cycle of Early Childhood Education, as well as the students of 0-1 and 0-2 years enrolled in Valencian municipal schools, for the 2019-2020 course. The students must have been born or expected to be born before 31 December of 2019.

It should be remembered that the students of the 2-3 stretch of municipal nursery schools have free classrooms from the 2018-2019 course, as well as the GVA nursery schools in the 0-3 section and the 2 classrooms established in Educational centers of Infantile and Primary.

Municipal nursery schools and private nursery schools

The families of students from 0 to 3 years enrolled in private first cycle centers of 0-3 and 0 to 2 years enrolled in municipal nursery schools have 10 working days to submit their application through the web consult here or consult here (section 'Services', 'Administrative procedures - Electronic office').

The families that request the help must sign the applications manually and deliver them, together with the required documentation, to the center in which the student or student is enrolled.

Those applicants who have already benefited from the child bonus in previous courses should only submit the application. However, in cases where the family situation has changed with respect to the previous year, the mandatory documentation must also be submitted.

Education will take into account family income as the main criterion for granting aid. The amount of the aid that corresponds to each family will be determined based on the per capita family income of the 2017 exercise.

As a novelty, for the next academic year there has been an increase in the minimum and maximum amounts of aid for the stretch from 2 to 3 years. The minimum monthly amount will be 90 euros, when until now it was 80 euros; and the maximum amount will be 180 euros, whereas until now it was 140 euros.

The amounts of the child voucher for the 2019-2020 course are included in this document.
