One more day, the epidemic situation continues to decline in Xàbia and in the Marina Alta, according to the latest update of data by municipalities provided by the Ministry of Health. The new update registers 188 infections in the last four days in the Dénia Health Department, which compared to the 215 cases last Friday, shows a downward trend.
In this way, active cases in the region also decrease to 683, out of the 13.888 positive cases that have been recorded in the Marina Alta since the beginning of the pandemic. Regarding the incidence, it also continues to decline, standing at 400,29 cases per 100.000 inhabitants compared to the 474,73 infections per 100.000 inhabitants registered in the last update.
In the case of Xàbia, the new positives posted are the same as last week. In the new report, the population has once again registered 40 new infections, practically the same data as four days ago, bringing the total number of positives since the start of the pandemic to 2.192, of which 164 are currently active.
With respect to the accumulated incidence in 14 days, for the second consecutive day, this falls significantly. It currently stands at 585,38 cases per 100.000 inhabitants compared to the 635,35 cases per 100.000 that it recorded last Friday.
