Christmas Concert of the Polyphonic Group Ars Nova: 'Requiem de Fauré'

UPDATE: Due to the evolution of the coronavirus pandemic, this concert is suspended, so it will not take place on January 23 as planned.

La Church of St. Bartholomew hosts the Christmas concert of the Ars Nova Polyphonic Group dedicated to the victims of COVID-19. The performance will take place on December 19 at 21:XNUMX p.m. This action is being carried out now since due to the state of alarm and the confinement of March, it had to be postponed.

The musical group will perform Requiem Op. 48 by Fauré. This concert is of vital importance as Ars Nova will sing in tribute to the victims of COVID-19 and all the people who have fought in this pandemic. A concert full of emotion with a work that connects our soul and invites us to embrace each other as humanity.

In this concert we will enjoy the voices of the soloists Teresa Albero, as soprano, and Vicente Antequera, as baritone. Albero and Antequera have an outstanding interpretive career, performing in major festivals and important stages around the world. They will also have the magnificent interpreters Francisco Pineda at
cello and Silvia Ferrer on piano and organ, all under the baton of Pere Vicalet.

The concert is free but it is essential to register in advance to attend any of the cultural events, as a security measure for the Covid-19 by calling 96 5794344, Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 14 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. . The reservation will be made for a maximum of 4 people. In addition, the use of the mask will be mandatory during the performance, as well as disinfection with hydroalcoholic gel at the entrance to the venue.

In addition, thanks to the support of Javea Town Hall, will be able to be represented again on January 23, 2021 trying that, despite the capacity limitations, everyone can enjoy this moving concert.
