The waters of the Bay of Xàbia has been the site chosen by the technicians of the Royal Valencian Sailing Federation and of the Royal Spanish Sailing Federation, so that a day of concentration of sailors belonging to the National Sport Technification Plan could take place.
A total of 42 people, between sailors and coaches, of the classes Laser 4.7, 420 and Bic Techno sub 15 and sub17. With the coaches Ignacio Calabria, José Manuel Ruiz, Borja Carracedo and Juanjo Royo coach of the tables of the Club Nautico de Javea. Together they, the sailors of those classes of the club as well as the rest of the clubs of the Comunitat.
The concentration included practical and theoretical sessions at the facilities of the Club Nautico de Javea. In the practical sessions, sailors were able to enjoy low wind and irregular conditions during the first two days, but they allowed them to train well, while on Sunday, the conditions were good despite the fact that an orange alert with rain forecast was active, which did not occur until the training is over.
From the Nautical Club of Jávea thanked the Federation of Sailing of the Region and the Royal Spanish Sailing Federation the choice of Xàbia to make this concentration. The sports director of the xabiero club, Javier Momparler commented that, "the importance of our Club at the national level, but also the work that both technical and sports have always done and that translates into the numerous sporting success that the club has had throughout history".
