CD Jávea statement: 'The Management Board submits its resignation as it does not have financial support'

26 July 2022 - 16: 25

Given the unsustainable economic situation being experienced by the CD Jávea, the Management Board in charge of the Club since
last season, she is forced to resign.

After a season in which the financial situation has not been the best for the club after waiting for
solutions and finding nothing but obstacles along the way, the team that we were managing
of the club, we have been forced to resign.

To put all the members and people related to the Club in the background, and to understand the reason for the
decision made, we want to expose the facts that have led us to this point.

At the beginning of the 21/22 season, after the resignation of the previous Board of Directors chaired by David Tíscar for
problems that had been dragging on since the 19/20 season, a group of parents and people linked to the Club took the initiative to set up a Management Board that would be in charge of resolving the delicate situation
existing and carry out the operation of the Club.

The resignation of the previous Board of Directors is caused by an audit that blocks the Club from receiving the
pertinent financial aid, and after already having the following season (21/22) planned and organized, they take the
decision to resign in June. It is at that moment when we step forward to take on the job
that was pending even without having full control of the Club because the situation blocked and blocks the transfer of
powers of the board chaired by Tíscar to the, until today, Management Board.

After months of work and after finishing this season and about to start 22/23 we are still in the
same point as when we took the reins: the Club still does not receive the corresponding financial aid. All the work carried out during the last months has been possible thanks to the contribution of the
students, whose amount is not enough to face the season to publicity achieved and the effort made
by the different members of the Management Board.

For this new season that begins next week, the Club's budget had been adjusted
considerably to meet outstanding payments, prepare a management organization chart to provide
special attention to the school and the hiring of technicians to take charge of the 15 teams that make up
school, but in view of the fact that the season was going to be faced in the same way that it was faced last
economically speaking, that is, without the support of the Town hall we are forced to take this
decision, since moving forward is something impossible and unsustainable due to the situation we have been experiencing since the
beginning.

Making this decision has been very hard and has been meditated on for a long time, since we are aware that we are leaving the Club and the school adrift, but it is currently unfeasible to manage it without the corresponding
financial assistance.

We want to thank all the people who have entrusted the project that was already underway, as well as
We apologize for making this drastic decision.

To the students who have already paid the fee for this season, we would like to inform you that the amount paid
will be returned in full. The Management Board will contact the parents to agree on the way to
refund of the amount.

We hope that someone finds a quick solution so that the Club does not disappear, with 80 years of
trajectory, for which we have worked and fought so much.

  1. HELLO says:

More green areas and open spaces in the open air to practice exercise/sport and fewer pharaonic sports facilities. Whoever wants to set up a club and have a pavilion or a stadium should be able to pay for it out of his own pocket.

  2. At the first touch says:

The explanations are ambiguous and are not explanatory:
Blocking the current management board? for whom?
lack of aid from the town hall?
Why is the agreement not managed correctly?
