The local Collective of Compromís chose, last Friday, Juan Cardona as the new spokesperson of the coalition as well as the rest of the members of the new local executive Carme Català, Vicent Colomer and Llúcia Signes.
This new executive will be in charge of preparing the electoral campaign, marking the strategic lines of the local collective and coordinating the primary process that will choose the list that will be in the next local elections.
In this sense his spokesman, Juan Cardona, has stressed that "This fact enters into the process of renewal that was already experienced in the last elections at the regional level and that positioned Compromís as the electoral force of the future."
In reference to the election, he remarked that "the collective knew that a renovation was needed that gave voice to young people in local politics". Regarding local politics, he warned of the need "to return the political debate to the locality. Since during these four years there has been much talk about management and little about what model of people we want to build in the long term."
To all this he added that "We are people who come from the local association, who knows the daily life of our people and who knows that if you work side by side with the neighbors, you can get important things that improve the well-being of our people."
