How to carry out the process of telematic admission to schools?

May 19 from 2020 - 11: 19

The Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports has published in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat Valenciana (DOGV) the resolution indicating the guidelines to be followed for the procedure for telematic admission of students in educational centers supported with public funds Valencians who teach Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, Compulsory Secondary Education and Baccalaureate for the 2020-2021 academic year.

This procedure is important for families who enroll their sons and daughters for the next academic year for the first time in the free 2-year-old classrooms and in the 3-year-old nursery, for students who want to enroll in Vocational Training (FP) or for families who want to change the sons and daughters of an educational center for different reasons. The document to be submitted provides all the information and options of the preferred centers in order to carry out the assessment and determination of the educational center where the sons and daughters attend school.

The admission process is the first procedure that is done within the school enrollment and this year presents a relevant novelty, since it must be done electronically due to the health crisis.

Computer application

In order to carry out this step, Education has prepared a computer application to guarantee the security of telematic management by citizens and to favor that the vast majority of the population who must carry out this procedure can do so online. Thus, the Ministry will enable, on the dates of admission, a specific web space with information on registration and electronic processing of the admission procedure. This application will be activated the first day that the procedures can be started, in the case of Infant and Primary, from June 8 to 16 and in the rest of the educational stages from June 17 to 25.

Each family must enter this web space and find each step to carry out the procedure in a visible way. The first step will be to generate the admission key to complete the process. You must ask for an admission code for each son or daughter.

Obtaining the admission code

To obtain this key, there will be a specific window in the web space that will be announced shortly. Once inside, the ID number of the requesting father, mother or legal guardian, the IDESP support number (9-letter code and numbers that are on the ID), the date of birth of the requesting person, the acceptance of verification will be requested. from the Ministry of the Interior and an email address.

Foreign citizens, who do not have a DNI, must present the same data but with their NIE. Apart from putting the NIE, you will have to fill in a box with the IXESP support number (code included in the foreigners cards and residence permits), as well as the date of birth of the applicant and the acceptance of verification from the Ministry of the Interior and an email address.

Made this first management, the requesting person will receive by email the identifier and the password for each request that they have to make according to the number of sons and daughters that must be registered.

It is important that the access code that includes the identifier and the password be kept to be able to make claims later when the provisional lists have been made public. On the web there will be a specific window also for these procedures, as well as to consult provisional and definitive lists.

With the access key, you can access the electronic form in which, step by step, you will have to fill in the request data for educational centers ordered in a preferred manner. Remember that you can choose up to 10 options per child.

People who do not have a DNI / NIE or those who do not have access to electronic means may carry out the admission procedure in person at the educational centers where they request a place as the first option on the same dates that the telematic procedure is determined.

All centers supported by public funds will be user service centers. At these points, through the same application to make the electronic admission, the procedure will be processed under the same conditions as the rest of the applicants.

Calendar of the admission and enrollment process

In rural areas of India, families in charge of a blind minor frequently isolate and deprive him/her of the care and attention they provide to their other children; such situation becomes even more severe among lower-caste families, orphans and if the blind child is a girl. The information on the provisional lists will be made public on July 1 and people who want to make complaints about it will have from July 1 to 3 to process them with the access code. The final lists will be published on July 10 and the effective registration will be made by families from July 13 to 29.

At rest of educational stages The submission of telematic applications for admission will take place from June 17 to 25. The information of the provisional lists in ESO and Baccalaureate will be given on July 15 and claims can be made from this day until July 17. The final lists will be published on July 27 and two enrollment periods will be established: from July 28 to 31 and September 1 and 2.

In the case of the Basic FP, the provisional lists will be published on July 13. You can claim from July 13 to 15. The final lists will be made public on July 27 and registration will be from July 22 to 28.
