The tourism department offers its visitors tures a series of themed routes to meet Jávea in a different and entertaining way. From May to October, almost every week different guided tours for all ages are offered.
These routes were very successful among tourists in the past, which is why this year the offer of this activity has been maintained, and even expanded. On Friday, May 2 at 18:00 p.m. The first one will take place, El Cap Prim + Flora Microreserve, a guided hiking route in both English and Spanish. The departure will be from the viewpoint of the Creu del Portitxol and the duration of 1 hour 30 minutes. Wednesday May 13 at 19:00 p.m. visitors, tourists or residents of Jávea of German origin have an appointment to get to know the port, the Church and the streets of the fishing quarter that will leave from the tourist office from the port of Javea.
The novelty of this year will be inaugurated on May 17, the thematic route "Xàbia Gastronomica" will go out to the street for the first time. During the excursion it will be explained how the current gastronomy of the municipality has been formed thanks to the influence of many cultures and will end with a tasting of typical products of Jávea in the Municipal Market. The departure will be at 11:00 a.m. from the tourist office of the Historic Center and will last approximately 1 hour 30 min. On Saturday, May 24 at 11:00 a.m. "The Port of Dreams" will be the main theme route. Thanks to the performance of actors who will play historical figures, attendees will be able to learn about the maritime tradition of the Duanes de la Mar neighborhood and its mysteries. The departure will be made from the tourist office of the port of Jávea and will last 1 hour 30 minutes.
The last route will also be aimed at German-speaking visitors and neighbors on Tuesday, May 27 at 19:00 p.m. Under the name "The nineteenth century and raisins" foreigners can get to know better with this themed route the tradition of raisin in our municipality. During the following months tourists can also enjoy guided and themed night tours, routes with games for children and families or different guided excursions to get to know the most beautiful places in the town of Jávea in a fun and entertaining way. Those interested can find all the desired information at the tourist offices of Jávea and prices range from 8 euros for adults to 4 euros for children.
