The College of Early Childhood and Primary Education (CEIP) Graüll is a public school that began to function as such in the 1997-98 academic year. It currently has 19 units, with a total number of students close to 400.
Philosophy and values
In the words of its director, Mavi Ciller, "This is a school on the student who is the protagonist, learn how to live with the difference and learn about the difference. It encourages co-education and equal opportunities per a tothom and believes in the inclusion as a força d'acollida de la diversitat ".
History
The CEIP Graüll building housed the first school in Xàbia, which was formerly called Vicente Tena. Most of the generations of Jávea who are now in their mature age have studied in its facilities.
In the 90s it was renamed Graüll and another nearby building was given the name of Vicente Tena. Currently, the CEIP Graüll is pending a comprehensive remodeling.
