From April 29 to May 2, the Spanish Youth Windsurfing Cup will be held at the Infanta Cristina High Performance Center, in the Murcian town of Los Alcázares. In it, five sailors from the fleet of boards of the Club Náutico Jávea: Pablo Momparler, Jorge Momparler, Noor Saidi, Julia Martínez and Álex Ortega. Coach Gonzalo Boronat will attend the youngsters.
Those selected for the Spanish Cup have been confirmed after the last round of the regional calendar that was held in Santa Pola. At that event, two sailors from the board fleet took the podium in Open Foil. They were José Luis Boronat and Alex Ortega.
Boronat was the second best in the general classification in Open Foil, a category in which Álex Ortega was fourth, Octavio Ramón fifth and Jacobo Ramón was tenth. In addition, in the sub21 classification, Álex Ortega and Octavio Ramón were second and third.
