In the afternoon-night of yesterday Sunday, one year, Xàbia celebrated the procession of Lowering the image of Jesús Nazareno from the Calvary Chapel to Church of St. Bartholomew. The procession was attended by hundreds of neighbors who wanted to accompany La Dolorosa and Jesús Nazareno on their way.
As is tradition, this act takes place every third Sunday of Lent and Jesús Nazareno remains on the altar of the Parish until May 3, after which the festivities are celebrated in his honor.
