OPINION | PSOE Xàbia
If the alleged 'deficiencies' of the pool were resolved today, could it be opened to the public? The answer is no. For this reason, after almost 10 months with the pool finished, the municipal government is hiding behind technical deficiencies that change over time: that first there were showers, then there was a manhole... things that cannot be explained when almost a year has passed since the work was received (that is, since it was accepted as valid and finished).
On the other hand, it is unacceptable that the blame is placed on the technicians and political responsibilities are not assumed after 20 months of government. And when Rosa Cardona When he took over the mayor's office, the work was still underway. When they gave the order to fill in the dam, didn't they think of checking anything? Was there no political responsibility? What did the Councillor for Sports do during all this time?
It is also unacceptable to alarm the population with something as serious as health risks. The excuse of 'cross-water' is not valid "because it is just as easy for the water to become contaminated in any other facility and that does not mean they are closed to the public. Just as a pavilion is not closed due to the risk of fungi or salmonellosis. Periodic analyses are simply carried out and when the indicators advise it, the facility is closed for the time required to solve the problem."
This excuse is added to the long list of accusations by Rosa Cardona's team for not assuming responsibility: they have pointed the finger at municipal technicians, journalists, the Spanish Government, previous governments of Xàbia... at everyone but herself. The only reality is that in the 20 months that they have been governing, the municipal government has not done its job: there are no lifeguards, no monitors, no janitors, no approved regulations, no taxes... there is nothing.
Anyone passing by the municipal swimming pool will therefore be able to see that it is full, with the air conditioning systems running (and consuming energy) and inexplicably closed.
The visit to the councillors that took place today (and which does not respond to Rosa Cardona's desire for transparency - which she had had for some time - but to the pressure of the extraordinary plenary session requested by the Socialist Municipal Group) confirms what we saw in the reports: the real deficiencies are in management. That is the real impediment and if in 20 months the Government of Rosa Cardona, with Tony Molina in charge of Sports, has not been able to resolve it, they will have to answer why.
It is not acceptable to deceive the residents of Xàbia. The pool has no structural or serious defects. Its only "fault" is that it has been one of the most requested projects in recent years and was made a reality by the PSOE government. That is why they prefer to keep it closed and spread lies that discredit it. The strategy is to delay the opening as much as possible to "erase" who made it possible and, in the process, cover up their own incompetence.
As a political group we have asked for an extraordinary plenary session to explain to the residents of Xàbia what is happening. What we are asking for is the truth, not a guided tour to take photos.
That the Chulvito group is asking for explanations for this pool disaster would be laughable if it weren't outrageous. They'd rather keep quiet when they are the champions of botched work, inaction, "brilliant ideas" and waste on all kinds of nonsense, but without having done anything positive for Jávea in all the years they had the opportunity to demonstrate their "enormous worth." That said, for now the new town hall is not proving to be very different. Here the only thing that matters is the party. Parties at all hours and with any excuse, parties, drinking parties and noise; in this, the PPOE town halls do not spare expenses or permits and while the normal people of Jávea have to pay and put up with it. Disgusting.
WELL NEIGHBORS ARE NOT FROM THE PP NOR THE PSOE NOR VOX NOR ANYTHING I AM JUST A NEIGHBOR WHO LIVES IN JAVEA WHO SEES A FULL POOL WITH THE CELFACTION ON EVERY TIME I PASS BY THERE THAT OVERFLOWS WOULD IT NOT BE LOGICAL THAT IF IT IS LOSING WATER AND HAS LEAKS IT SHOULD BE EMPTY TO REPAIR IT OR IS IT THAT THEY REFILL IT EVERY DAY I DON'T THINK THEY WOULD BE SO PANOLIS HERE THEY HAVE GUNITEQ ECOPOOLS AND SEVERAL COMPANIES WITH A TRAJECTORY THAT ARE DEDICATED TO THE SUBJECT THEY COULD MAKE A DIGNIFICATION AND PUBLISH IT ON JAVEA.COM AND SAY WHAT IS HAPPENING OR NOT IT IS STRANGE THAT IT IS POORLY MADE IT LEAKS WATER AND A LOT OF EXCUSES AND THEY DO NOT SHOW ANY REPORT
The truth is other, cal dir-ho ben clar
The strategy of the PSOE is, in short, to criticize as much as possible to "erase" "one's own incapacity", that of the various governments that have many problems and many incompliments, and many delays...
I want you to know that there are not so many people in Xàbia who have a pool of 6 million. On are the details?
Prou! What matters is defending and building Xàbia, abans that your partit
