Faced with the unfortunate accident that occurred a few days ago at the L'Ancora Tennis Club where a British citizen resident in Xàbia lost his life while playing a paddle game, Ferrer Tennis Academy has decided to endow the Jávea Tennis Club and to the Ferrer Academy of two defibrillators. These two devices have been placed at the door of the gym and in the player room so that club members and coaches can use them.

Also, before this fact, today an informative talk given by the cardiologist of the clinic has been developed REMA, Fernando de La Guía, at the Jávea Tennis Club. De la Guía has explained and made a demonstration of Cardio-Pulmonary Assisted Resuscitation to the students of the school Vicente Tena, who have attended these conferences.

In addition, children have been taught the importance of practicing sports and leading a healthy life. To do this, they have explained some notions that may be useful to them so they can save the life of any person in the event of a cardiac arrest.

Dr. Fernando de la Guía, has extensive experience and is responsible for all treatments of the high performance players of the Ferrer Tennis Academy. After the talk, the students of 5º and 6º of Vicente Tena have received a voucher to receive free lessons of tennis or paddle for a week.

In the practical part of the day, a group of students has received practical classes on the slopes and then a theoretical class with Romario, name with which they have baptized the doll with which they have performed the cardio-pulmonary practices.
