Work calendar: what days will be a holiday in Xàbia in 2023?

In 2023 it will be possible to enjoy, in Spain, more holidays. In total there will be 14, non-recoverable and paid holidays that citizens will have. Since the work calendar for next year has been announced, there are already many who look and plan their vacations.

And it is that, this 2023 will have, at least, five long weekends (of three or more days) to be able to rest from the working days, that is, the well-known long weekends. Of the 14 holidays, 12 are national and 2 local.

According to the official calendar, published by the Official State Gazette, the days declared as non-working days for work purposes in the Valencian Community and in Xàbia, are:

  • January: Friday 6 (Three Kings Day)
  • April: Friday 7 (Good Friday) and Monday 10 (Easter Monday)
  • May: Monday 1 (Worker's Day) and Wednesday 3 (local holiday- Jesús Nazareno)
  • June: Saturday 24 (San Juan)
  • August: July 15
  • September: Friday 8 (local holiday- Virgen de Loreto)
  • October: Monday 9 (Day of the Community) and Thursday 12 (Hispanic Day)
  • November: Wednesday 1 (All Saints)
  • December: Wednesday 6 (Constitution Day), Friday 8 (Immaculate Conception Day) and Monday 25 (Christmas)

Also, before the work calendar is the school calendar 2023 where the bridges are marked and the days that there will be no classes in Xàbia next year.
