The traditional paella contest organized by the Fogueres Festival Commission had a large turnout. A total of 27 clubs prepared their paella, during the night of yesterday, in the bullfighting area. Smell, joy and good atmosphere was what was experienced during the day.
Each group of friends prepared their particular paella: mixed, chicken, vegetables... There were many varieties, but all with a single objective: to win the contest and win the prize of 100 euros.
After the elaboration and tasting of each of them by the jury, the prize went to the Penya Ca L'Avi that now has the pride of being the best of all.
The party continued in the bullfighting arena with the concert of Mocha and the mobile disco Fogueres Musicon.
