Job vacancies: Cultural and linguistic coordinator for the City Council of Xàbia

The Official Bulletin of the Province has published the call for Javea Town Hall in which a technician is needed who performs the functions of cultural and linguistic coordinator in the Department of Culture.

With this call it is intended to set up a job board to provide vacancies, substitutions or temporary needs that may arise. With the applicants who are called by the job exchange, the pertinent temporary hiring will be carried out.

Among the requirements to fulfill, applicants must be in possession of any university degree or equivalent, or in conditions to obtain it on the date when the deadline for submitting applications ends. In addition to the required qualification, applicants must have one of the following degrees: Degree in Valencian Philology, degree in Translation and Interpretation, Valencian higher degree, or at least the C2 level certificate of the Qualification Board of Coneixements del Valencià.

Functions to perform

The most significant functions to perform will be:
-Program, manage and coordinate cultural activities.
-Promote the use of Valencian in all areas.
-Design cultural and outreach campaigns of Valencian, programming events and actions, enabling infrastructures, applying for grants, and performing all the necessary tasks for its successful completion.
-To monitor the actions contracted.
-Translate and correct written in Valencian, both internal City Council and at the request of third parties.
-Participate in multi-departmental municipal projects.
-Collaborating with associations and schools in cultural events and promoting the use of the Valencian language.
-Assign tasks and control the work of the janitors and the personnel assigned to the department.
-To carry out any other task of its category for which it has been previously instructed.

Applications must be submitted within 20 days from today, September 12. Along with the instances, the applicants will present a photocopy of the DNI, of the required degree and of the documentation accrediting the merits. The documentation accrediting the merits must be presented in the order of each section of the bases. The presentation of applications may be made in the General Registry of Entry of the City Council or in the case that the instances or requests are presented in other administrative records, it must be communicated to the email contratacion@ajxabia.org.

Once the deadline for submitting applications has expired, the list of admitted and excluded persons will be published on a provisional basis and, where appropriate, indicating the reason for exclusion. The system of selection of the aspirants will be that of merit contest. The scale can be consulted in the same call of the BOP.
