The municipalities of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell and Teulada, together with Hidroqua, have launched an awareness campaign on the responsible use of water. Its presentation ceremony took place at the town hall teuladin.
The initiative includes the distribution of information brochures, educational campaigns for schoolchildren and talks in high schools. Specifically, the educational campaign includes the theatrical performance of "Gout Viajera"This is a show to raise awareness among primary school children about the responsible use of water.
The mayor of Teulada, Carlos Linares, remarked that it is vital that from a young age one learns to value water, such a scarce resource. At the same time he pointed out that during the holidays this summer the "water party"to prevent litter of water being thrown away as has happened in previous years.
