The soccer field of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell will host, next year, the UEFA B football coaches course, news confirmed by David Rangel, director of the School of Coaches of the Valencian Football Federation.
Rangel visited with the Councilor for Sports, Toni Colomer, and the director of the Baseball School, Celso Alcazar, the municipal facilities. After certifying the unbeatable state of the field and its lawn, the sports director decided that the Poblero municipality is one of the three headquarters of the province of Alicante.
The course, framed within the new federative curriculum as the second level, is valid for training anywhere in the world. These classes will start at the beginning of 2020 and will consist of both practical and theoretical classes.
The practical classes will be in the soccer field and the theoretical ones in the international school Lady Elizabeth School. In it people from all the Valencian Community can register.
The mayor of Sports, said that “We are delighted that the federation has chosen as our headquarters our town and our soccer field. It is indisputable that it is one of the best lawns in the whole region ”.
David Rangel said that “The facilities of the municipality are incredible and the latest generation lawn will give the course an extra quality”.
For his part, Celso Alcazar, director of the Baseball School, highlighted the importance of this course when it comes to encouraging the little ones as they will be able to experience in first person what is experienced in a coaches course, since many of them will be part of the practical classes.
