In order to combat micromachism, the Poble Nou de Benitatxell hosted the play Wild, interpreted by four women, being one of the actresses neighbor of the municipality, Laura Lemus. The function was programmed by the Department of Women, Gender Equality and Policies, by Maite Roldán and had an absolute full.

Wild achieved a full house in El Poble Nou de Benitatxell. A work with which it is about empowering women and combating micromachism by seeing actions that discriminate against women. The play, by the company L'Arèola Teatre, was performed by the actresses Alba Juan, Elena Egea, Laura Lemus and Carla Polo.

"They are small gestures, comments, actions that are usually presented in a subtle way and are taken as natural behaviors, but make no mistake, it is also about machismo. These attitudes can occur in all areas: in your home, in an outing with friends, walking down the street ... and even in privacy. They are the usual jokes and sayings, fully extended in everyday life that discriminate against women ", highlighted Maite Roldán.
