Benitatxell receives two grants from the Provincial Council for the repair and clearing of roads

The Diputación de Alicante has granted the Town hall from El Poble Nou de Benitatxell two subsidies worth 7.500 euros. One of them, for an amount of 5.000 euros, will go to the repair and patching of the Camí del Barranc Roig. The second, of 2.500 euros, will be used for clearing and cleaning the Camí de l'Abiar.

The works, awarded by the city council, have already been carried out. These two actions will help improve important rural areas of the municipality.

These are very busy roads by the residents of the municipality as they are habitual itineraries of groups of walkers who go for a walk between vineyards and rural landscape, as well as roads that lead to country houses and rural homes.

“Rural roads have a great social use in El Poble Nou de Benitatxell. Some of them have an alarming oversight and poor state of conservation of the firm, so we are betting to repair and improve them little by little ”, explained the Councilor for Agriculture, Mayte Roldán.
